Broome-time(s)
Here are some pics of me and my Broome buddies having a running race at the Mangrove Hotel. It was Libby's birthday. (You'll see a picture of Libby further down the page.)
1. Ready....

(L to R): Tully, Ziad, Asha, Rio, Atto, Willy, Me, Billy
2. Set...

(I'm still getting used to having to wait before you start running! Head start for the youngest?)
3. GO!

(While it looks like I'm way ahead....it wasn't how the story concluded at the finishing line! That is when I made it past the finishing line!)
5. Lance getting the highest for the 'Low-Hey'...poor Billy has to go along for the ride and she's looking a bit unsure!
Mash Up
I know I say this often...but it really has been a while since our last post!
Here's a mash up of pre-Xmas and more recent pics.
2. Me with all my Xmas trimmings. About to drink loads of sugar filled drinks at my day care Xmas Party. Red cordial is really great fun!

3. Surrounded by some of my favourite things. A man bag full of cars, my 'A-Boo', and a newly gifted cricket bat set from Sienna and Nik! Happy as Larry....if my name was Larry.

5. Rock wandering
Love to you all.

The 'gup
In mid-September we went to Yallingup (aka 'The Gup") for Sam and Caz's wedding. It was sooooo cool....and slightly cold!

We stayed in a big townhouse with loads of other people, including two other babies. It was right opposite a playground so I was able to practice one of my new words alot....'swing'. I also got to meet my cousin Ella for the first time. She is choice!
We had an awesome few days.

Dad and I were re-enacting our version of 'that' popular scene from TITANIC at the front of the boat in the playground...but it kind of ended up looking a bit like Dad was doing a 'Michael Jackson' over a hotel balcony.

This is the marvellous 'GUP GANG'..minus the Gassman Family who began their return journey to Sydney that morning.

Walking the 'gup with Dad. Saw some big waves. I guess anything was going to be big - as we don't have any in Broome! But Dad assured me he wouldn't have survived them on a surfboard.

Bath time with Cousin Ella. She pretty much smiled like this for the 5-days we hung out together. Told you she was choice!

Blue steel. Jetson's style.

It may look like I'm crumping or breakdancing...it may look like I'm having a sugar surge...it may even look like I've swallowed some ice. But really....I'm doing my impersonation of Steven Hawkins.

Once I got home to Broome...I couldn't help but re-live the glorious moments of our road trip... in my very own car.
Peace love and all the good stuff.

Dancing is fun...
Here's a dance I am currently learning to master...it is the ROBOT DANCE....
I like to call it 'BOBOT'... See if you know the part we are talking about. If you have the sound on it may be very obvious.
Thank you Aunty Jibby and Aunty DC for their creative input so far... I couldn't have done it without you!

Just stuff
Hi everyone,
There's not much of a theme to this post. Just more 'stuff'.
We're still having dinner down at the beach whenever we can. Although with Mum teaching again for term 2 - it means three nights a week it's just the boys - Dad, Champ and I. We planned to go camping this weekend, but the forecast was 'rain'. It's a strange time of the year to have rain. Lucky we didn't because it's been damp and cold all day. I even got to wear a long sleeve top and tracksuit pants today!
Ok. So the weather and my wardrobe isn't exactly gripping news! I'm losing you I can tell.
More excitement to come shortly - as Grandpa and Granny Mailer arrive on Tuesday morning. Very exciting.

Wet? Really? Where's the rain??
According to the locals, it's been pretty dry 'wet'. Not much rain has fallen since we've been back from our East Coast sojourn. It's a shame because we haven't really experienced what this season is known for! (Except the heat of course. That hasn't failed to deliver!)
Quite a few storms form but they seem to pass around us! Nevertheless we are still going down to the beach to see them develop because it makes for great lightning watching!!
And yes - Mum usually has the camera!
This one was a really good one..we were down at Entrance Point and it literally curved around us towards Gantheaume Point.

Housework... (yes I think it is fun, but Mum doesn't!)

..the Pigram Brothers...

Love to you all.

Dance Eddie Dance...
Mum and I went into the Toy Shop last week. We weren't looking for anything in particular, just having a browse. We got a little side tracked down the musical instrument aisle, especially when I discovered a guitar.
Dad thinks this might be good enough to enter the Australia's Funniest Home Videos competition. I'm thinking that he might have a biased opinion and I'm not sure I'm willing to sign the disclaimer.
What do you think?
East Coast Fun
Dad's computer has been in Perth getting a new screen and Mum's still precious about me touching her MacBook...so it's honestly been tough getting some screen-time to sort through the pics from our recent holiday.
Nevertheless - the wait is worth it!
There seem to be a lack of 'group shots' from the big catch ups we had. Mum and Dad were so busy talking to everyone else to notice me, I mean, to take photos... um...of me. If you have any - please email them to Mum as she'd love to put them on here.
1. The joys of stickers and the places you can stick them! Long travel time in the car mean Mum had to be creative with the stickers from the sticker book. She thinks the face makes for a great alternative sticker album.

2. I'm sure I wore out Great-Aunt Issy when we stayed with her. We don't have stairs in our place in Broome, so I wanted to get good mileage out of the ones in her apartment block. I was very lucky to have her company on the stairs...going up...going down...going up...again....going down...

3. I learnt the word 'plane' just before holidays and I also got a toy one as a present for the long trip across the continent. Here I am trying to convince Great-Aunt Issy that she'd like to play with it too. She didn't quite believe me.

4. We were lucky enough to spend some time with Great-Aunt Mary too. Here I'm trying really hard to tell everyone to look at the camera for the photo!!

5. Knitting with Granny. We had heaps of fun in Scone. Here I am leaving a wet surprise for Granny in her glasses case!

6. Watering the garden with Grandpa Bob.
8. Waiting patiently for the guest to arrive. really I just wanted to feel what it was like to sit at Aunty Kate's fancy eating table!! Very special.

9. Hanging with Juno in Bondi. Couldn't get a moments peace to ourselves - everyone kept hanging around!

10. Juno packs a mean punch when it comes to smooches. Shortly after this photo was taken we toppled to the floor.

12. Purple shoes make everything alright.

13. More bath action with Rosie
16. And then comes in for a smooch. I'm playing it very cool!

17. We even had a coffee at our favourite place in Leichhardt, just around the corner from our old home. Mum and Dad seemed to be very happy they had taught me the word 'plane'...coz I was saying it every 5 minutes!! PS - Yes I am still in my PJ's!

We are back in Broome now and well... it's hot and humid. We've been trying to hang onto the memories of swimming at Cable Beach while the rest of the country watch for the snow report on the news!! But the reality is there is no swimming at Cable Beach (jellyfish stingers) and there's been no snow either - or rain. Yep - it's been a dry ole 'wet' season and many of the locals have said it's been a tough one. I guess it's good to get a tough one first up to break us in.
Thank goodness for the pool and airconditioning!!
Big grateful thanks to everyone we stayed with, borrowed stuff off, and caught up with over our holiday to the east coast, and especially to those we didn't get around to see. We miss you all so very very much and think (and talk) about you often. Don't forget to keep sending us updates on your lives, loves and laughs.
Remember it's paradise up here from May to September!! *wink wink nudge nudge*
Peace.
